If you're not using NKS libraries or the Maschine plugin or don't intend to get any Native Instruments plugins, you won't get the most bang for your buck. They're meant for the Maschine/KK software and most of the functionality will be tied to that. ![]() I don't think that it's really worth it to buy the controllers if you're only going to use them inside of FL. You can also load up Komplete Kontrol within FL and that way you'll get the functionality that's advertised (light guide and the browsing of NKS libraries, if you have any), but those will not work outside of the plugin.īut. The tempo and clock will sync with what's on the host program. You can load up the Maschine software as a plugin inside of FL Studio and route its outs to the mixer. The screens won't do anything fancy this way, mind you. (in my case the Komplete Kontrol A61, for which I will also write a review). The keys will work and you can assign the knobs like any other controller and you can create custom mappings with the control editor. I don't really know what you mean by "working" since they both are essentially just midi controllers. ![]() What kind of functionality did you have in mind? I can test them out if there's something specific. I use mine mostly with the Maschine DAW, since that's the way it's intended. I have the mk3 and s49 mk2 and also use FL Studio, so perhaps I can shed some light on this.
